Moved to Wordpress for now

I have moved my blog to the WordPress Software for the time being. So far the software is very slick. I'm still working on setting everything up though. Lots of Links and stuff need to be added. You can visit it by going here.

Server Problems

As I'm sure you have noticed there were some server problems. It's going to take a little time to get things sorted again. Unfortunately quite a bit of data was lost so any post from late 2007 on is gone. Also right now the format seems to be messed up due to a skin issue. Stay tuned. I'll have more news hopefully in the next few days.

NCAA Football 08 Server Update

EA says NCAA servers will be updated today in order to help curb some of the lag issues people are having. Like Madden this could boot people offline while they apply the update.

Madden NFL 08 Online Update

Now that Madden NFL 08 is available, the development team at EA is doing some tweaking to make sure our online experience is as smooth as possible. Since there is currently a high volume of people playing online, this is the best time for us to monitor and maximize the experience.

As updates are taking place over the next 24 hours, some fans may experience an interruption in online play. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience as we make the necessary updates.

Madden NFL 08 Gamerscore Contest

We are celebrating the launch of Madden NFL 08 by hosting a Madden 08 Gamerscore contest!

The object is to be the first to get 1000 gamerscore points on Madden 08. The winner will receive a brand new Xbox 360 120 GB Hard Drive courtesy of Tony Hynes and Microsoft. Thanks Tony!!!


Here are the details of the contest and what you need to do to enter.

1. You must have a Xbox 360 Gamertag with Xbox Live - Silver would work but if an achievement requires online play you would be unable to obtain that one without Gold service.

2. You must register for the Madden Planet\College Dynasty forums - This will be required to post your gamerscore - a direct link is http://www.madden04.com/forums/ or you can find links on both www.maddenplanet.com and www.collegedynasty.com

3. After you have obtained 1000 gamerscore on Madden 08 you will need to post your gamertag name in the thread at the following link. http://www.madden04.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=52870

4. To be eligible you will need to start obtaining gamerscore points on August 14th and not beforehand. We also obtain the right to disqualify anyone from the event that we feel is cheating.
