RULES
:
All-American Level
6 minutes/quarter
1. NO QUITTING ALLOWED! If you quit, you will not be allowed back in the league.
You are allowed to use any playbook you like for your game. No huddle offense is allowed during anytime AS LONG AS you're not running the same play over and over again. In other words, you can't flip back and forth between the same two plays either, You need to have a full regimen of plays if you are going to go into the no huddle offense (ie 5 plays out of the same formation). This is not to be confused with the hurry up offense. In they hurry up you can call different plays. Because your in a hurry to score. This will allow you to call the spike the ball play or the fake spike the ball play.
2. Fourth Down Rule
When you can go for it on 4th down:
Anytime during the game if you use a fake punt play or fake field goal play only. You cannot audible while in the punt formation.
If you are behind by more than two scores anytime during the fourth quarter. (8 or more points)
If you are behind 8 points or less within three minutes to go during the fourth quarter.
If you are in between the 39 and 30 yard line on your opponents side of the field and up by no more then 8 points.
If you are behind by 17 points or MORE in the third quarter on your opponents side of the field.
You can go for it on 4th and short (1 yrd or less) if you are behind by any amount of points or up by no more than 8 points and within the opponents 40 yard line(39 yard line or less).
If you can go for it on 4th and goal if you are behind by any amount of points or up by no more than 8 points.
Following the Fourth Down Rule rewards a defense that puts up a strong defensive stand the first three downs forcing the opponent to either punt or attempt a field goal.
3. Stats for the game will be Total Passing yards, total rushing yards, and players of the game for both teams. Individual stats of players of the game has to be taken down as well. Winner Will be responsible for stats. If the game disconnects the player that has the option to play the cpu or quit should take down the stats then quit the game. Once reconnected the game will be played through the remaining quarters including the quarter where the disconnect occured. Exampe(if the game disconnects in the 2nd quarter you will play the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarter and end the game. If you and your opponent disconnect and no one gets stats just play the remaining quarters like stated above for final score and I will sim the game for stats. If your disconnected and do not get your game finished by the time set both teams will get tie forfeits
A game report has to be posted after every game. Losing team posts the game report. A game report has to be posted or I will assume the game never got played. If you break this rule twice u will be booted from the league.
4. You have 1 week to fulfill your scheduled game. The league week will begin on Saturday and end on Friday. If you are unable to get your game in by the 7 day time period, please contact the commish so something can be figured out. If you do not contact the commish you could face a forfeit loss for that game. If neither you or your opponent get in contact with each other and neither notify the commish both coaches will get a forfeit and it will show as a tie on your record. (Game can be schedule outside the regular 7 day period if there’s an emergency, you are going on vacation, or you have to go away for work. Just shoot me an email, aim me, or post it in the forums that your going to be away.)
5. These out of position substitutions are allowed:
P for K, K for P
All postions for KR and PR
CB for WR
S for CB, CB for S
No other out of position subs are allowed.
6. The Goaline formation can only be used for short yardage situations.Running Receivers in Motion: Do not run receivers in motion back and forth in attempt to lose the DB covering in Man Defense. If you place a receiver in motion, and then send the reciever back, the ball cannot snapped until the receiver gets set Explanation: (You are allowed to snap the ball with the receiver in motion when the receiver is in outside the tackles to help block or slow down the blitz. This is to counter the many enhanced Blitz Schemes that are out there.)Ask Corso: is forbidden to use on offense. If you have to use Ask Corso to call your plays then stick to Franchise Mode. Using Ask Corso is an obvious attempt to trick your opponent.
7. Defensive Playing
D-lineman cannot be moved outside of the normal shifts provided by NCAA 2004.
D-lineman cannot be looped or stacked or otherwise moved from the LOS and must stay in their natural order.
D-lineman can NOT be moved into pass coverage until the ball is hiked. This includes punt return defense.
LB's Movement: LB's may be moved thru the shifts provided by the game. Or LB's may also be moved manually, but only side to side and away from scrimmage. LB's may not be moved manually towards the line and stacked behind DL. Again, LB's may only be moved side-to-side or away from the LOS. If this is abused it will be removed from the rules and only ONE LB (The one you control) will be allowed to move before the snap. There is some slack here, so do not take it for granted and get crazy with shifts. Everyone's idea of "unrealistic" play is different. Too much movement will most likely be thought of by someone as unrealistic. Answer to this situation follows the next rule.
- Any other players (CB/FS/SS) can be moved before the play to any position, although excessive and unrealistic repositioning is not allowed at any time. At the moment, "excessive and unrealistic" is open to interpretation.
- At any time if there is a question about unrealistic or shady movement, pause the game and discuss the matter with your opponent. Each player must try to understand each other and communicate like gentleman. If no agreement can be reached, then the following rule must take effect for that game: Only a single player may be moved manually before the snap and the defensive player must KEEP control of the moved player until AFTER the snap. Regardless the game must be finished...no quitting. The situation can be resolved with the commish after the game. DO NOT QUIT.
If your opponent breaks any of these rules during the game or after the game. Please notify me. Do not post it on the forums. I’m the commish and I will deal with the matter. Please respect each other and follow the rules.
