EA Sports Season Opener Recap |

Brian Ekberg of Gamespot recently attended the EA Sports Season Opener event at The Press Club in San Francisco and reported back on what he saw in his Gamespot blog. While many of the games are still not at the stage where they are ready to be shown to the public, the event did offer up some teasers on what we can expect from NCAA Football 11 and Madden 11, along with some gameplay footage of Tiger Woods 11 in action.
At the event, the publisher showed off a number of its upcoming games and technical demos for two of its biggest titles: NCAA Football 10 and Madden NFL 10. |

Tiger 11 won't support Natal |
|

A report on Eurogamer claims that EA "will not support Project Natal but will support PlayStation Move", at least where the Tiger Woods PGA Tour series is concerned.
"We are always evaluating new technologies and Natal would be a perfect fit for the Tiger Woods PGA Tour franchise," an EA spokesperson told Joystiq, "however, we are simply not in a position to do so with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11." |

'Tiger 11' to feature Ryder Cup |

Two pieces of unexpected news come via ESPN Videogames article. First, the news that Tiger will be sharing the cover of this years game - who saw that coming ? Second is a new game mode which will be officially modelled on the Ryder Cup.
Obviously, it's a Ryder Cup year, and the Ryder Cup is a very unique event in golf as it brings in a team element to the sport," explains associate designer Travis Sailer. "We have Celtic Manor, the 2010 Ryder Cup course in the game this year, so you'll be able to play the Ryder Cup on that course in the game. But the thing about the Ryder Cup is, you're not just playing, you're the team captain in the game, so you're even selecting your roster and the pairings. |
