Announcing Brett Favre as cover athlete for Madden 09
Apparently, according to GameDaily, Brett Favre is the official cover athlete of Madden NFL 09.

We recently posted a tribute video to Brett Favre, after he recently announced his retirement. Turns out we were, if the rumor on GameDaily is to be believed, posting a video of the new cover athlete for Madden NFL 09. Today Madden's own favorite football player, Favre, was "confirmed" as the representative of the 20th anniversary edition of Madden. No official word from EA, yet.
