Gameplay Changes to the putting mechanic will certainly be more challenging and take some considerable getting used to. Likewise, other modifications to the swing mechanic along with new courses and rewards are welcome changes.

Graphics Courses look good, player models are excellent and faces realistic. As in previous versions you can create an ultra realistic version of yourself with a wider selection of clothing to pick from as well Woods 06 certainly delivers in terms of visuals.

Longevity The Tiger Woods series has never had a problem in terms of longevity such is the depth and variety of it's gameplay modes. Woods 06 is certainly no different. With a new 'Rivals' mode and the PGA Tour season to play through, not forgetting the availablilty of online gaming expanded to 4 player games this year, this game will keep you hooked on golf for a while.

Presentation The menus are easy to navigate and Woods 06 does a good job of delivering plenty of gameplay modes and tons of other stuff besides.

Sound The commentary was funny back when I first got this game 3 years back and while the same humor is still present in Woods 06 it does become a little frustrating hearing the same lines over and over. However given the comedic nature of many of the remarks, especially following a poor shot, the audio in this game is amongst the best of any EA Sports title.

Overall Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 is a good solid upgrade over the 2005 game and well worth owning. EA Sports does a good job with this series and they have clearly listened to some of the criticism thrown at them following the release of last years game and have made the game more challenging and more rewarding at the same time.
